Abstract

The article examines, in the light of the writings and thought of the Cappadocian Fathers, the Person of the Holy Spirit. Bearing in mind that, in our times, is perceived a lot of commitment in the reflection of the Person of the Holy Spirit through various spiritualist movements, this article intends to train the current bad perceptions about the Holy Spirit, in the steps of the Cappadocian Fathers. With this theme we intend to answer the following questions: which influence do Cappadocian Fathers still have today? Could it be that the trinitarian problem, especially in referring the third person of the Most Holy Trinity, is an outdated question to the point of not having an existential and moral impact on the experiences of today? In this way, it will be seen that there is only one nature and communion of different hypostheses and not a subordination in God. In humanity, created in the image and likeness of God, it is also possible to live without indifference, inferiority and subordinating others.
