THE THE HUMAN SUFFERING
: WHEN THE SEARCH FOR A METAPHISICAL SOLUTION FIND A GOD WHO ALSO SUFFERS
Keywords:
Suffering, God, Religion, Consolation.Abstract
The purpose of this article is to demonstrate the consequences that the searching for a justification for the suffering can bring. It seeks to understand the resources used for pain relief, as well as some authors' opinion on whether or not suffering can be alleviated through religion. It is intended to demonstrate how religion justifies suffering and if there is any coherent argument to console the anguish of those who suffer. Similarly, what could be a possible way out when the sufferer realizes that his suffering can also be shared with God, the one in whose the hope for the resolution of the problems has been deposited on. If there is a god who should be good and all-powerful, why is there still so much grief and pain in the world? And if God is really all powerful and can save humanity from all its faults and sins, why does He also suffer? Why does He still allow suffering? These are the issues that will be addressed in this article; the answers that some biblical authors find to suffering; philosophers and their thoughts on seeking solace in religion.
